Ch, ch, ch, ch, Changes....

Over the years, technology has expanded and grown that its hard to keep up. From beepers to the newest iPhone and from books to tablets, technology is ever changing and we cannot buy the new gadgets fast enough.

Schools are now buying iPads for students to use as notebooks and before we know it, textbooks are going to be a thing of the past. To keep students interested in school and focused in the classroom, technology must be present.   Whether it is a SmartBoard, a computer, or an iPad, children today need that immediate gratification and do not want to wait for it. By incorporating technology into a classroom, a teacher is saying that they want students to pay attention and be excited to learn.

Apple even helps us out by giving us an "Educational Apps" category in the App Store.
Education is constantly changing but it is changing even faster to keep up with the constant changes in technology.

This blog is going to be about integrating technology into the classroom and hopefully learning new ways to use technology.As a teacher I love finding new ways to make sure my students do their best.
